2018 Roadtrip: Day 1 Midwest To Rennsport Reunion VI

End of Day 1, and we were in Lexington, Nebraska. Left in the morning, drove down 35 into Des Moines where Matt Huybrecht met Tony Sottile and his wife Jessie in their Targa named Pablo.

Who knew that convenience stores in Iowa sell growlers of various beers (Toppling Goliath and Founders to name two)?

We then headed straight West on I80. Stopped at a WalMart outside of Omaha to get some energy drinks (i.e. octane booster) for Pablo. Drove 3 1/2 more hours into Lexington where we checked into our hotel and grabbed some Mexican. Note for any of you travelers passing through Lexington - there are 2 Mexican restaurants but only 1 serves booze. We logged 600 miles or so the first day.
