Thank you for visiting us! We take pride in designing and creating products that we have designed to make our crew’s builds amazing. When we started Ächtung Kraft (Loose Translation: Outlaw Power) it was about bringing together like-minded Porsche lovers who had a shared passion for the brand and “Outlawing” them to make them better to drive and own…
It has grown into a brother-/sister-hood of hard core Porsche enthusiasts from many backgrounds; Engineers, Designers, Artists and Custom Car Builders, and even “dentists” all with a common ethos we live by: we love to Drive and Wrench™ on our own cars and make parts that we want, and hopefully others will love too. But even outlaws have rules, however, and Ächtung Kraft has but three…
RULE #1: You have to make some attempt to wrench on it yourself. Anyone with opposable thumbs can write a check, but the real fun starts when you bond in the garage. Whether it’s basic maintenance or a full-on motor build, you gotta get greasy. Shop beers aren’t necessary, however highly recommended.
RULE #2: Make it yours. Yeah, the factory built a damn fine automobile, but unless you ordered it through the special wishes program, it’s not truly yours. Using parts from different model years or hundreds of aftermarket suppliers (or making your own), modifying Porsches is an age old tradition, and one that Ächtung Kraft proudly continues with great pride!
RULE #3: Drive it like you stole it. If you’re following rules one and two by modifying and maintaining your Porsche, you shouldn’t be afraid to push it to the limits. They’re tough as nails, and even if it happens to break, you now have a fun new project to tackle in the garage with friends!
We thought about making Rule 4: “Don’t be a Dick”, but we’ve found that the first three rules kinda weed out those dudes.
Also, this isn’t just an air cooled party… Got a killer 944 turbo or hotrod 996? Hell, if you’ve built a Panamera Turbo drift missile, we definitely want to hang with you.
This hands-on passion has fueled our approach and has allowed us to create many interesting custom parts, finding approaches and sources for better, more cost-effective and unique parts for each of our builds. This passion allows us to test parts on our own cars and offer the best products to other Porsche enthusiasts. And if you have a need/idea let us know, we love to make unique parts/solutions for our crew!
